Iconic design

Building upon a rich legacy which began when we launched the original Concorde, the Concorde Music holds a storied history as one of the most famous cartridges in the world of audio.

Originally developed as a solution to the challenge of easy mounting on a tonearm without screws or wires, the Concorde's unique design earned the Danish Industrial Design Award and became an icon in
the audio industry.

Stylus

The Concorde Music Bronze, featuring a Nude Fine Line stylus on an Aluminum cantilever, offers an upgrade from the Concorde Music Blue.

The shape of the Nude Fine Line diamond provides more faithful tracking of the groove. Unlike the Elliptical shape, the Fine Line has a narrower profile, yet its prolonged shape ensures sufficient contact with a wide area of the groove. Experience your music with a whole new dimension of precision.

Rubber suspension

A crucially important and vital part of a phono cartridge overall performance is the stylus rubber suspension.

Exclusive Ortofon rubber compounds are used for the stylus suspensions in the Concorde Music Blue, carefully produced at the inhouse rubber production, and developed by the research and engineering team at Ortofon for brilliant performance.

• Channel Balance at 1 kHz:
  1 dB
  Indicates the difference in output between the left and right channels at 1 kHz. A 1 dB difference suggests excellent balance.

• Output Voltage at 1 kHz, 5 cm/sec:
  6 mV
  The voltage produced by the cartridge under standard conditions (1 kHz and 5 cm/sec), which is sufficient for achieving a strong signal-to-noise ratio.

• Channel Separation at 1 kHz:
  26 dB
  Represents the separation between the left and right audio channels at 1 kHz, with 26 dB indicating very good stereo separation.

• Channel Separation at 15 kHz:
  17 dB
  Indicates the stereo separation at higher frequencies (15 kHz), contributing to the clarity of high-frequency sounds.

• Frequency Response (20 Hz - 20 kHz):

  Describes the accuracy of the cartridge's frequency response across the audible spectrum, with minimal deviation from the flat response.

• Tracking Ability at 315 Hz at Recommended Tracking Force:

  Indicates how well the cartridge can track the grooves of a record at 315 Hz when applying the recommended tracking force. A value of 80 µm reflects excellent tracking performance.

• Compliance, Dynamic, Lateral:
  15 µm/mN
  This measures the flexibility of the stylus assembly in response to lateral forces, important for accurate groove tracking.

  A Nude Fine Line diamond stylus provides high precision and improved tracking, especially in high-frequency details, and the aluminium cantilever adds rigidity.
