Description
Ortofon LH-9000 is an exceptionally high-quality headshell made from carbon fiber, designed to attach perfectly to a range of phono cartridges. This headshell is an advanced design made from magnesium with carbon fibre and weighs only 16.8 grams.
This headshell can be used with moving magnet MM or moving coil MC phono cartridges from Audio Technica, The Cartridge Man, Clearaudio, Goldring, Grado, Ortofon Roksan, and many more
The LH-9000 comes with lead wires for easy and convenient connection
All Ortofon cartridges have a colour coding of the terminals, indicating red and green for the right channel respectively hot and the ground terminal. White and blue for left channel respectively hot and ground terminal. The green terminal will always be used for grounding the cartridge housings or motor-system, whenever connected inside the cartridge.
We recommend connecting lead wires to the cartridge and headshell before mounting the cartridge on the headshell.
Please remember the correct orientation of the leads. Ortofon cartridges' terminal PINs diameter is 1.2 mm, whilst Ortofon headshells' PINs diameter is only 1.0 mm.
